Staycations are so underrated

I wouldn’t normally post about something not involving my work or planes however I just had to blog about our time in Pembrokeshire, Wales!

I’ve been coming here for years now and I really do love it, the coastal scenery is something else and the weather is usually pretty good. We have our base near Lydstep and spend our time walking the coastal paths around the area.

On our few days joining my Mum and Dad we’ve walked 31 miles, climbed 133 floors, done 73,884 steps!

If you ever want to visit I highly recommend St Davids, the smallest city in Britain and is so pretty, plus the weather is usually better as it’s further west! From St Davids we walk along the coastal path, up the Carns this time was Carn Penberry and after falling over, dropping a phone and getting scratched from gorse bushes we made it to the top and the view was breathtaking (take a look for yourself!!)

Another good thing that we love is the fact that so much air traffic goes over the top! So while we walk we can see all the aircraft coming over from or to America!

I have always loved going to the coast and this place is great, where we stay we have a beach and when it’s low tide we can climb on the rocks to some little caves and the like. We look for crabs and anything in the rock pools that have been left behind as the tide has gone out!

I am also a firm believer in getting outside and seeing this quote inspired me even more!

If you need any advice where to go in Oembrokeshire please fire away with questions, I feel this place is so underrated!

Thank you for reading this from me and my trusty walking boots!
